No concept is ever truly finished. There's always techniques and ideas to be polished and mastered. You do not have control over other people's opinions, what may look unfinished to them may be complete to you and others.
Don't let your ego tell you to express/execute for the sake of proving people wrong, but for yourself and for society/others that may appreciate your work along the way.

there's usually tons of failed and unfinished experiments preceding a successful one. And the concepts that you have now can be used for larger projects in the future.
