What, you honestly think that the day of Dec 25 being over will make stuff go back to normal? Think again buddy!

Merry Christmas belated. With any luck, I'll be finishing on getting life caught up, and working on my normal stuff again. Y'know, maybe more sprite art, maybe more writing... I'll eventually try to colab with folks to bring a flash game with a story, but that day is far off. So, until then, let's kick back and finish getting caught. By, reading 2 books, finishing Firefly, watching Serenity, getting RP char's back in line, maybe withdrawing from one RP that I've never really become a part of, EtC, EtC, Ad Infinitum.

And, to those who I've been reviewing semi-steadily... Yeah, I'll get back, just you wait... XD

Anyway, life has been busy, so for the artists I typically check, sorry. Just haven't checked y'alls stuff. I'll get back to it soon.

We look back over the majority of the year. What have I done? What have I achieved?

Well, I wrote a 50,000 word novel in one month. I've drawn closer to people that I wouldn't have expected, and forged some pretty good friendships, hopefully ones that will last for a long time yet. I've found out more about myself than I would have realized possible, but also seen how much farther there is to go. I've realized things I already knew, and realized the importance, and continue to struggle to keep them present. Has this year been a good one? Maybe... Just maybe.

At the same time, we've seen repercussions of problems from last year that still put ripples on the surface of the water. In getting to know myself better, I've seen things that I don't like and desperately want to change. I've had my share of troubles, which are mostly unmentionable because it's not really publicly acceptable.

It's been a long year. I'm glad it's over, to be frank. But, if I had a chance to go back and change it, would I? Nah. I wouldn't change a darned thing. And I know it ain't even close to new years yet... But, this isn't about new years. It's something I noticed and wanted to shout out.

So, what changes have y'all seen from this year? Would ya'll change anything major? Or just say whatever. I'm rambling, so disregard me if you want. Call me crazy. I don't mind. XD

Ok, I'm 17 now. Great.... So, now what?

Seriously, I don't feel any wiser or older just because it's the day of my birth. This is basically just an excuse to get stuff I want. All the real growth I've seen happened a few months ago. Today, a number changes. That's it. Well, I'm also one year closer to being able to have a beer! :P

First of all, why am I writing this here? Because on NG, I'm basically a nobody, and therefore nobody watches. Also, I doubt my friends care, and I'd rather this not go to them. Anyway...

Normally, I stress the importance of Thanksgiving. We need to be thankful, right? Then why am I so ungrateful? Right now, while I should be content and happy with what I have, I'm angry, annoyed, miserable, and just want left alone. I get called, and I stomp toward them, cursing as I go. I like to think of myself as a community person, yet right now, all I want is to be left alone.

Is this normal? Does anybody else get this way too?

OK, so that's me. Great! Still working on NaNoWriMo here, but I got great music to work with thanks to folks out here on the portal. Like F-777, B0UNC3, SkyMarshall, AzureVixen, TIMarbury, and all my other favorites. This are the most recent I've listened to, so they came to mind first. Thanks guys, and gimme moar moosix!

Alright, I've dedicated November to writing a 50,000 word novel in the 30 days. Check NaNoWriMo's site to find more. (Google it yourself lazy peoplez! :P)

Until then, I guess I'll just keep coming to the NG Audio Portal for music to write to. So, keep 'em coming folks! XD And, I will have a link to the novel on the esteemed wall fo fame for NaNo, provided I actually finish it. I know I can, I know I can...

But, it's not like anyone reads this, right? I said, right... Hello? Dang...

Anyway, Life's been busy with trips, friends, and HTML. Did I mention HTML is fun? Well, don't mistake it for having to work with other codes that often run around with it. Making working .htaccess and .htpasswd files is HARD. And aggravating. Oh well. Thus is life. See ya!

Ooka, so it's been a while. Working on Equinox, and enjoying more stuff from great people on NG. Made a little art thingy, but whatever on that. Not much else to post!

Well, I found how to do fractal images in GIMP, so I got those and set up my account with them. Still trying to figure out what I can contribute. on NG.

I'm working on a book. Already got the title. Equinox is in a sci-fi environment, around the year 3000 (Ooka, I haven't stated one. STILL TRYING TO FIGURE THAT OUT!) however, unlike such sci-fi things as Star Trek, where we have warp by 2100, I'm taking a longer time for less advanced technology. There are no aliens. "Where's the interest?" Well, notice the title. Equinox. It means the alignment of a sun with it's planet, more or less. A slight change. What if it were an equinox of parallel realities? The main character/s is/are Brion/Brian/Bryon. There are three in different realities, and in each, there is the main char, the same and yet not. I'm working on a preview chapter, but i'm not done yet. Hope y'all enjoy what i put out!
