In and out...

I like how this song phases. It keeps it's main focus, yet keeps fading in and out, and kinda resetting, but still building throughout. Instrumentation is solid, composition is good. Might need a better name, but... Current one will work. And, get a better ending. It does a lot to have a good conclusion. ;)

Does remind me of a track I got somewhere called Master Blaster... Which is good, as they are pro. ;) Keep it up, you're getting good.

Thanks john, I miss your reviews. I miss making music for that matter haha. :)

As I am ever so fond of saying...

Contrast is a beautiful thing. One of the most powerful artistic tools, IMHO. The constant play between the more... Rough electro sounding part at the beginning, running through my mind, with the much gentler and soothing main part. It's just... good.

The name doesn't quite fit though... At least, not to me, but I'm sure you had reasons.

Good instrumentation, mastering... EtC. The 2:00 mark was a nice emphasis.
Keep it up!

TIMarbury responds:

thanks alot dude. the girl who mad the original beginning part gave it that name so i left it as that name since she inspired me to make the rest. Your reviews r always inspiring to me so I thank you for that.

Very strong and playful.

Very much like my computer when she breaks down. :P

Good job on the naming. While it's not a typical style for you, it's very good. Love how it's so... bouncy. :P Can't think up a better word. It's got a very "In yo face!" quality too.

Meh, words are failing right now. Just glad your back, and what an intro. XD

Subtle is the way to go...

And you got it. Fantasy is a very good name for it, although there is also something to it that seems more like a half remembered dream... but I suppose dreams are fantasies, eh? :P

It's very peaceful, and the way all the instruments have that long fade (It's not quite an echo... :/) adds to the surreal effect. Aye, it could possibly benefit from some major contrast with a heavier styled section, but... Sometimes, there is something to be said for continuity. I'd say that, if you wanted to, you could add, but I personally think it should stay with the current theme, and not have any intense part specifically. That's just me, but...

Keep it up. Trance is definitly a great area for you, so go with it. :)

Time passes like a drop in a bucket...

Very distinct, and each one individual... But it's not until the water has collected that you can see the reflection, and the beauty of the unbroken whole.

I like how it starts so distinct, and yet still builds to something completely different, yet still fitting. Transitions here are amazing, on all counts. And, Instrumentation is very good.

I agree. This is not you making the music... This is the music making itself through you. Er, I think. XD I know what you mean, just with writing. Sometimes it just happens, and you have no control. You wake up from a daze, and there's stuff like this waiting.

Maybe master the bass around 3:15-30-ish a bit... Make it a little less rough. Maybe it's just my speakers clipping, or something, but it doesn't help the effect.

Keep it up. Soothing, and invigorating. Trance it away!

AikaMusic responds:

I have no clipping im on my surround sound and it sounds perfect to me :o!

And then, a nice piano solo...

... Leading it's way around, musing for a while... Then, the bass comes back, the drums on hold until the bass has established a nice synch with the piano... And then, Back come the drums, maybe knocking the piano back and leaving room for the lead again...

Well I ain't gonna give a downright 10 to a sample this short... I gotta be mean somewhere! XD This is more of potential energy... I can a see a 10 on the horizon, but you gotta cover some ground to achieve it. So get to work.

One of the things that hit's me with disco...

Is that it's somewhat psychotic. Very flashy, unrealistic, and making a show of unnatural colors and weird movements. Well, this track captures that in a way. It's almost as if it's phased... Not quite in alignment with reality, but... There nonetheless.

I like the strong intro. Just a simple "Boom, here I am!" can say a lot. 0:25 brings in a nice "fidget", and I like how it kind of remains, but with variation. 'Tis nice. One thing that I would like, maybe at 1:50, would be a full break, where it leave only the bass, toned down, and get's a little more... (struggling for right word here.) Solemn? A nice contrast to offset the craziness of the rest of the song.

Keep it up, and thanks for your high praise on my last review. I just try to be honest and give people stuff to work with! :)

Seriously dude...

You need to go into more ambient trance. This does get moving, but it remains peaceful throughout in a good way... It's almost like bagpipes, even though those awesome things aren't actually in here... Powerful, yet also capable of being REALLY soothing. Can't think of anything else to say without rambling pointlessly. So, just keep on being awesome like this.

And I no longer need sleep.

I mean, heck, I've only gone through 24 hours without sleep. But that's a power of music. Through auditory stimulation, the mind and body can be pushed beyond it's normal limits. This is like pure energy. It's well organized, easy to listen to, and it's just... Happy. :) Ok, ramble over, before I bring in puppies and bunnies.

When the first few seconds addict you...

Then you know it's good.

Smooth, gentle, yet strong. It's a good contradiction, if it is that. I'm still listening, so I'm writing this as it goes. It's got a solid rhythm, and it's well developed.

And, staying up all night needs something to anchor you to reality. This is good at that. Unlike repetitive bullet shots, this is neither hypnotic, nor disruptive, but it is soothing and yet stimulating. What can I say, the Irony appeals to me.
